Meet the owner
Josh’s story begins in Alabama, where strong values, family, and football shaped the foundation of who he is today. A devoted husband and proud father, Josh believes in doing everything with integrity whether it’s raising his kids or renovating a client’s home.
Before entering the home-improvement industry, Josh spent seven years competing on the Pro Rodeo circuit. The rodeo taught him grit, precision, and the importance of showing up and giving your best every single day. Those same qualities now define his approach to craftsmanship and customer service.
A lifelong Alabama football fan, Josh brings that same passion and determination into his work. His goal is simple: create beautiful, lasting spaces while treating every homeowner with honesty, respect, and the kind of care he would want for his own family.

Established in 2019
The owner of Modern Home Improvement & Remodeling had a general construction business for many years all while competing on the Pro Rodeo circuit. After 8 years on the rodeo circuit, and 2 professional championships later, he hung his hat up and moved to Houston, TX.
After completely remodeling his home in 2019 which restored his passion for contracting and remodeling. We know from both friends/family and personal experience how hard it is to find a reliable contractor; therefore, it is our mission to provide reliable and quality service to the Houston community.
